test 5

When we sit down to board meeting our biggest discussion usually surrounds the calendar. We know that we can count on Fab Fords Forever in April at Knott’s, and the first weekend in June for the Huntington Beach Concours. On the grass at the Huntington Beach Library, it’s a really “nice” show. There are tons of really special cars there—not to say that our Thunderbirds aren’t nice, but—Hey—there are Ferrari’s and Jags and other “fancy schmancy” cars there. Well, again this year, a bunch of our Thunderbirds took home awards!  So there!

This is the word I got from Ralph Nunez: In the little Bird class, Garry Ray and his black ‘57 was 2nd
and the Ron and Helen Morin got 3rd with their black ‘57. (The only difference I could see in the pictures of these cars is that the Morin’s had their top off and Garry didn’t. But since I wasn’t there AND I’m not a judge, what do I know??)

In “Big Birds Concours” George and Peggy Hoffman’s white ‘63 convertible took 2nd and Ralph Nunez got 3rd with Randy and Marge Holland’s old ’66 Coupe.
In the street class William Stanley was 2nd with his ‘60 Hardtop and Tom and Roselle Bailey were 3rd
with their ‘62 Roadster.

I guess it does matter what class you are in, and who is there (what cars are you competing against) When we sit down to board meeting our biggest discussion usually surrounds the calendar.
